8/22/10 - The 1st Annual CAJA Pro Picnic was a huge success - Churruca was in attendance with 24 other Pros.  A great time was had by all as Matt and Rastock took 1st Place in the Picnic Partido Elimination Tournament!  Photos and videos of the event coming soon!

8/6/10 - Qualifying Rounds for the 1st CT/FL Tournament possibly coming late September '10 - stay tuned!

8/5/10 - Please note that we will be CLOSED on LABOR DAY, September 6, 2010 for the Holiday.

8/4/10 - Please note that WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 1:00P SHARP on August 22nd, 2010.

7/2/10 - CT Amateur Jai-Alai was featured on Ch.3 WFSB's show Better Connecticut with Teresa LaBarbera!

5/8/10 - What can we say?  If you weren't there, it is truly difficult to put into words.  Our Grand Opening was something very special...  Players, friends, family, fans, newcomers, and pros like Rastock, Cruz, Roger, Bucci, Mendi, Aziz, and many others were in attendance...faces some of us hadn't seen in almost 35 years.  It was great to see so many smiles with an unspoken understanding of how very grateful we all were to be able to finally "come home" again.  Media coverage was provided by WTNH, WFSB, and Fox News, who were on hand to share the event with the public.  Of course, legends of the game Churruca, and Joey can simply not be thanked enough for their participation, support, and for making this event something none of us will ever forget - we are grateful and humbled indeed...

5/1/10 - Opening Day was everything we had hoped for...  Please know that we appreciate all of your expressions of appreciation, encouragement, and support.  We had a great turnout - thank you!!!

4/26/10 - NBC Connecticut,The Hartford Courant, and The New Haven Register have written about how we have brought Jai-Alai back to Connecticut!!!

4/21/10 - Main Court Fencing is complete.  Two coats of reinforcing epoxy have been applied to the front wall of the Main Court.  Floor and Side Wall markings on the Main Court are almost complete.

4/12/10 - It's official...Opening Day is May 1, 2010 at 10:00am!!!

Our Grand Opening will be May 8, 2010 at 1:00pm!!!

4/11/10 - Surface finishing and painting of both courts is now complete!  Final coats of reinforcing epoxy to be applied to the front wall of the Main Court over the next several days.  Main Court fencing is almost done.

4/10/10 - It is now confirmed that jai-alai great, Joey will be in attendance for our Grand Opening!

3/28/10 - Construction on all of the walls is complete!  Surface finishing and painting of the Main Court to begin this week!  Placement of protective enclosures on the overhead lights and Fencing on the Main Court is almost finished. 

3/10/10 - The Front Wall of the Main Court is up and the floor has been poured and finished!  Construction of the Main Court Fencing is underway...

3/9/10 - Please know that in the coming days and weeks, we have an incredible amount of work to complete in order to open our doors on schedule - tradesmen and specialists will be coming in from out-of-state.  We always enjoy talking with our friends and visitors but as a result of our current construction goals, we will not have as much time as we would like during this period to stop and discuss the court and the progress we are making.  In fact, we could actually use some help!  If you’re willing and able, please come down to lend a hand.  There are more things to be done than we can count.  Trust us – we’ll find something for you to do!  Give us a call - we'll let you know and remember, it’s your court…have a hand in making it a reality!  Thanks…

As you can see, our courts are now complete.  Our Main Court is 112 ft long x 36 ft wide x 28 ft high. We have been very fortunate to have obtained a specially designed and very dynamic hard plastic pelota that is perfect for this size cancha. There is also a 60 ft long Training Court that we are very excited about for new aficionados of the game.  We will soon develop regularly scheduled Leagues and Tournaments.  Our Pro Shop now sells cestas, helmets, cintas, t-shirts, and more…
