4/10/11 - CT Amateur Jai-Alai has been chosen to be the first fronton ever in the State of Connecticut to host Jai-Alai for the CT Nutmeg Games!  See the press release for the dates of the games here: http://www.nutmegstategames.org/2011nsg1stpr.pdf.  Register now to become part of the action - registration deadline is June 27, 2011.  Out-of-State athletes are welcome!

11/2/10 - CAJA is proud to announce the launch of our LIVE FEED so all of the action can now be seen online!

10/23/10 - The Main Court floor has been pressure washed and sealed and it is beautiful!  Everyone who has been on the court has noticed a dramatic improvement in the quality of this playing surface. 

7/2/10 - CT Amateur Jai-Alai was featured on Ch.3 WFSB's show Better Connecticut with Teresa LaBarbera!

5/8/10 - What can we say?  If you weren't there, it is truly difficult to put into words.  Our Grand Opening was something very special...  Players, friends, family, fans, newcomers, and pros like Rastock, Cruz, Roger, Bucci, Mendi, Aziz, and many others were in attendance...faces some of us hadn't seen in almost 35 years.  It was great to see so many smiles with an unspoken understanding of how very grateful we all were to be able to finally "come home" again.  Media coverage was provided by WTNH, WFSB, and Fox News, who were on hand to share the event with the public.  Of course, legends of the game Churruca, and Joey can simply not be thanked enough for their participation, support, and for making this event something none of us will ever forget - we are grateful and humbled indeed...

Our Main Court is 112 ft long x 36 ft wide x 28 ft high. We have been very fortunate to have obtained a specially designed and very dynamic hard plastic pelota that is perfect for this size cancha. There is also a 60 ft long Training Court that we are very excited about for new aficionados of the game.  We now have regularly scheduled Leagues and Tournaments.  Our Pro Shop sells cestas, helmets, cintas, t-shirts, glasses, souvenirs, and more…
